9:05 AM - 9:25 AM Fireside Chat: The City Furniture In-Store Technology Story: Past, Present & Future

Steve Wilder, CFO and CIO, City Furniture
In an exclusive interview, hear how City Furniture developed in-store mobile apps for our Sales Associates to leverage existing digital ecommerce assets, empowering these associates with content to answer customers’ questions and to provide real time information about City’s and Ashley’s merchandise and delivery scheduling availability. It provides a viable customer relationship platform to better know customers and guests and a secure mobile platform for City Furniture Card finance application processing. Associates can transact from anywhere on the retail floor, all on the iPads each associate carries on their person. They’ve enhanced the customer journey, enriched their sales associates performance and satisfaction and achieved positive financial results for City Furniture (increased “Revenue per Guest”, the product of “Closing Ratio” multiplied by “Average Ticket”).
