April Wagner is the Sr. Director of Customer Experience Strategy and Transformation at Best Buy. Most recently, she developed the company’s customer experience vision and is leading a team focused on enabling executives, senior leaders, middle management, and 120,000 employees to bring the vision to life. In addition, she is responsible for managing the enterprise customer experience initiatives portfolio, the engagement capability, the program management and operations capability, and the customer experience team operating model.
April is a highly collaborative leader with over 20 years of experience in driving strategy to execution to increase customer loyalty, employee engagement, and business value. She has expertise in leading complex, ambiguous, and transformational efforts within Best Buy including: call centers, store experience design, properties, enterprise business planning, B2B, marketing, and now customer experience. She is known for being customer-centered, an integrator, problem solver, and a solutions seeker. She sets high standards to achieve better than expected results while investing in people and developing high performing teams. She leads through empathy and by listening, creating accountability, building trusting relationships, influencing at all levels, and charting new courses.
Giving back to others in her community is a priority, which is why she serves on the Board of Directors at People Serving People in downtown Minneapolis. The organization is focused on creating sustainability for young homeless children and their families and building a strong foundation for their long-term success.
