Jeff Matthews (Past Speaker)

Jeff Matthews is the Director of Store Design and Construction for the Americas Region at Pandora. He has extensive experience in retail design and construction as well as successfully building internal and external teams for rapid rollout development. While at Pandora, Jeff’s fourth international retailer, he has successfully scaled the rollout of 2 different designs to accomplish opening over 600 new stores, more than 400 remodels and more than 1500 Shop in Shops in more than 16 countries over the past 9 years. 

Jeff has maintained a realistic and practical approach while building the foundation of the retail design and construction departments that he's had the opportunity to create.  His focus on the fundamentals of retail and common-sense approach has contributed to his success while penetrating the Pandora brand into new Markets across the Americas. Jeff’s focus on practical efficiencies for brand consistencies has led to success with Franchise Partners as well. Creating guidelines, vendor networks and cost efficiencies across the Region has helped insure that the Pandora brand is scaled throughout with Franchise Partners and Pandora Owned and Operated stores consistently and effectively. In addition to creating the rollout program, Jeff has successfully created and implemented other business critical programs, including the Regional Remodel Program, that has saved the company millions of dollars. 

Jeff prides himself on building teams and relationships with both internal employees and external vendors and credits his success to the people that have supported him during his career. Scaling a brand with Franchisee’s money is especially difficult but building positive relationships with all partners has been a large contribution to Jeff’s success in developing the Pandora program.

Prior to starting retail work 19 years ago, Jeff was a teacher in architecture and engineering. He credits his success in managing and developing his team to his experience in the classroom.

Jeff lives North Carolina with his wife of 14 years, their two girls, and their dog Denver. He and his family enjoy spending time at the beach as much as possible. While at home they enjoy boating at the local lake.
